Tru Optik, the audience intelligence and data-management platform at the forefront of over-the-top (OTT) and Connected TV (CTV), announced that advertising technology, and digital media expert, Richard Kosinski, has joined the Company as Executive Vice President Sales.
Mr. Kosinski comes to Tru Optik with more than 20 years of experience in both sales and business development roles in digital media and AdTech across all platforms including video, data, and mobile. In his role, Mr. Kosinski will be responsible for growing Tru Optik’s revenue, partnerships, and global expansion.
“Richard’s vast experience and thorough understanding of the media and data value chain will be instrumental in his role leading Tru Optik’s sales team”, said Frans Vermeulen COO of Tru Optik. “He will be focused on developing revenue strategies to grow our client sales and partnership efforts with agencies, brands, ad networks, programmatic platforms and Enterprise TV content producers in the U.S. and abroad.”
Mr. Kosinski was President & Chief Revenue Officer for Receptiv, an early stage in-app mobile video company acquired by Verve in 2018. He built their formalized programmatic sales channel and expanded reach to leading brands and global agencies. And, he also served as President, US of Unruly, a video technology company acquired by News Corp in 2015.

Most recently, Mr. Kosinski served as the Managing Director of Blue Ocean Partnership, LLC where he focused on new business development for ad tech and digital media companies in the US and international markets. He has also held key management positions at Quantcast, Westwood One, Dow Jones and Yahoo!. As Yahoo!’s first Vice President of Political Advertising, he co-founded the unit in 2007 and is considered a pioneer in online political advertising.
